Michael Daly, admitted to the bar in 1977, has been representing injured and disabled individuals since 1989.
He was graduated from the Cornell Law School in 1976, and practiced law until 1981 with Onondaga Neighborhood Legal Services. He then worked until 1989 as an associate and later a partner with the Mackenzie Law Office in downtown Syracuse. From 1989 to 1992 he was part of Baker, Clark, Satter & Daly and its successor partnerships. From 1992 to 2008, until Edward Pitts retired from private practice to become a Social Security Law Judge, Mike and Ed were the partnership Daly & Pitts, with offices in the State Tower Building in downtown Syracuse. Mr. Daly moved his office to Manlius in 2009.
Before law school, Mr. Daly was graduated from Oberlin College in 1970 and served three years as a military intelligence specialist with the U.S. Army, stationed at the Yongsan Garrison in Seoul, Korea. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), the Injured Workers Bar Association of New York (IWBA), the Workers Compensation Bar Association of Central New York, the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), and the Onondaga County Bar Association (OCBA). He is past-president and a current umpire with the Fayetteville-Manlius Little League. He sings with the Syracuse University Oratorio Society and with the Cathedral Choir at St. Paul's in downtown Syracuse. He serves as Treasurer and Web Site Custodian of the early music ensemble Schola Cantorum of Syracuse.
